HYDREX GALVANISED MESH WALLED PVC LINED RESERVOIRS
Mesh Reservoirs are an excellent solution for storing large quantities of water at a relatively
low cost. They come in sizes ranging from 3 000 to 169 000 Litres depending on the height and
diameter of the reservoir. Even the largest mesh reservoir can be assembled in just a
few hours and can be supplied with inlets and outlets to suit your specifications. Each
reservoir is guaranteed for 5 years with an average life expectancy of 15 years and should last much longer when properly assembled and
cared for.
Mesh Reservoirs are commonly used in the following applications:
- Fish Farming (Aquaculture) - where different size reservoirs are used for the
enitire breeding process. Reservoirs can be interconnected with pipes for drainage purposes,
filtration, and filling of tanks. These reservoirs have conical floors to aid with drainage and
have different inlet and outlet fitting attached to the reservoir. Floating and umbrella covers
can be fitted as optional extras.
- Agriculture/Farming - where reservoirs are normally used for water storage
next to a borehole or windmill and for storage next to animal watering points where the
reservoir is used to store the water and drinking trough is connected by a system of pipes
and float valves to control water flow. Reservoirs are also commonly used near crops as
an irrigation source.
- NGO's - where reservoirs are most commonly used as a drinking water source
in refugee camps and disaster affected areas. Reservoirs may also be used to store
contaminated water which can then be filter and stored in another reservoir as clean
drinking water for large groups of people.
Mesh Reservoirs are constructed using a 600 Micron Black, Food Grade, Non-Toxic P.V.C.
(Poly Vinyl Chloride) Liner, enclosed inside a support structure of Pre-Galvanized,
Square-Block, Reinforcing Mesh. They are manufactured in two standard heights, 1.2 and
1.5 Metres. Please consult the charts below for full specifications.
